Elena Kerrigan

Managing Director & Head of Culture

About me

I joined Think Productive in 2011 and have been part of its journey from start-up to global consultancy. My work focuses on helping teams work in a way that is both effective and sustainable, creating clarity, reducing unnecessary pressure and making space for what matters. I’m a strong believer in role-modelling the behaviours I advocate, from questioning how time is spent to protecting space for rest and focus. I was instrumental in introducing Think Productive’s Four Day Week back in 2011, helping the team demonstrate that sustainable high performance and wellbeing go hand in hand.

Before Think Productive, I held roles across finance, project management and knowledge management at organisations including Barclays Capital, Daimler Chrysler and Ernst & Young, building a foundation in problem-solving and helping people work more effectively. Throughout my career, a consistent thread has been a passion for knowledge-sharing and helping teams do things smarter, not harder.

What I help with

Culture and behaviour change, leadership role-modelling, sustainable ways of working, the Four Day Week, team dynamics, applied improvisation

Qualifications & credentials

  • Skilful Leaders Programme, Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
  • Mental Health First Aider, MHFA England
  • BA (Hons) Economics & French, University of Leeds
  • Improvisation Teacher, bringing applied improv techniques into leadership and team development

Books

I haven’t authored a book to date, having seen first hand how much work they are, I’m very happy holding the beer while others write them. I’d say it’s fair to note that all of Graham Allcott’s books, including the global bestselling and award-winning How to be a Productivity Ninja and KIND, owe a lot to me creating the space for him to step away from the business and focus on writing.
