About me
I’ve spent more than 25 years working as a teacher, coach and Sensory Support Specialist, particularly supporting Deaf and deafblind people as a British Sign Language interpreter. That experience, in diverse contexts, has taught me something that sits at the heart of everything I do: there is rarely one “right” way to work, organise your life or make a change. The best strategies are the ones that work for the actual human being using them.
I’m an ILM Level 5 qualified coach and a licensed Gretchen Rubin Four Tendencies Workshop Facilitator, and I’m also known as The Coach in the Cupboard®, a name inspired by the tiny under-the-stairs space where my coaching business began.
One of the reasons I’ve become so passionate about productivity is that productivity has never come naturally to me. I’ve had to learn it, and I’m still learning. I love to read, explore new ideas and experiment with different approaches to habits, organisation, motivation and behaviour change. Because of that, I genuinely understand what it feels like to struggle with productivity, rather than simply being someone who has always found it easy. What drew me to Think Productive was the idea that productivity isn’t about squeezing more and more into an already busy life. It’s about creating more space for the things that genuinely matter.
Life beyond productivity matters enormously to me too. My greatest passions are my husband and my young adult children, spending time in nature, and my faith.
Ultimately, whether I’m coaching one person or working with a room full of people, my goal is the same: to help people understand themselves better, work in ways that suit their personality and their lives, and make more space for what matters most.

What it’s like to work with me
My style is warm, honest, energetic and very practical. I love taking big ideas and turning them into small, realistic actions. I want people to leave my sessions feeling not only inspired, but thinking, “I can actually do this.”
