1) Drink some coffee: It’s a cliché because it works. A well placed cup of coffee might just be enough to get you through the next hour… or eight. We start all our public workshops with fresh coffee because it’s always good to have a little kick start when learning something new.
2) Give up: At Think Productive UK we can take duvet days – you can phone in, opt out and chill with Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the day. If it isn’t possible to get away from your work, see if you can change the programme – work on a new project for a couple of hours and make sure you make the most of your lunch break.
3) Focus: You know this isn’t going to be one of those high impact days so make sure that you maintain your focus on one or two key tasks. You will feel so much better with a couple of completed actions under your belt, than if you end the day with that ‘achieved nothing’ feeling.
4) Use the force: Or rather your system. Here’s a secret to ninja like productivity – when you have a great system, it keeps you moving even if you’re not completely in the zone. Our productivity training will help you to create a system that will keep working even when you really don’t want to.
