Thriving Teams

Building a Culture of Resilience & Psychological Safety

Today’s workplaces are full of competing demands, shifting priorities, and external uncertainty. Navigating these challenges while maintaining wellbeing, trust, and performance doesn’t happen by chance.

Leaders and teams who intentionally shape their culture create the conditions for collaboration, trust, and growth. When psychological safety is high, people feel safe to contribute, take risks, and learn from mistakes—leading to greater innovation, engagement, and resilience.

This practical and interactive workshop can be delivered in two ways:

  • For Leaders and Managers – equipping them with strategies to build a thriving team culture. (3hrs)
  • For Intact teams – putting these strategies in place together to strengthen team clarity, resilience, trust and growth. (6hrs)

We’ll explore:

  • Reframing failure – Turning mistakes into learning moments that drive innovation.
  • Navigating uncertainty – Staying engaged and focused in volatile conditions.
  • Building psychological safety – Creating trust and open conversations so everyone can contribute their best work.
  • Overcoming “High-Functioning Fear” – Reducing perfectionism, defensiveness, and disengagement.
  • Kindful leadership & teamwork – Balancing clarity and compassion to bring out the best in yourself and others.

Participants will walk away with practical tools and proven strategies from Black Box Thinking, Growth Mindset, Kindful Leadership and tapping into Struggle, ready to build a culture where teams don’t just survive—they thrive.

We highly recommend pairing this culture workshop with Cracking the Engagement Puzzle, which dives into human motivation and equips managers with personalized strategies to energize, motivate, and engage each team member.

Very thought provoking. Gave me lots of ideas of initiatives to introduce and really helped me identify things that could be better.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is this workshop suitable for teams who are currently struggling?
Yes. Many teams join because they feel disconnected, overwhelmed or unclear on expectations. The workshop creates a safe, practical space to rebuild trust, strengthen communication and make work feel more manageable again.
Is this a wellbeing workshop or a performance workshop?
It’s both. Thriving teams need clear expectations, healthy boundaries, good communication and psychological safety. We bring these elements together so teams can perform well without sacrificing wellbeing.
Do participants need to be an intact team?
Ideally, yes. The biggest impact comes when people who work closely together can explore their habits, challenges and strengths in the same room. We can also run mixed-group sessions, but the focus is strongest with an intact team.
Does the workshop include practical tools or just discussion?
Both. Participants get simple, easy-to-use tools for communication, boundaries, team agreements and prioritisation. We then apply them to real situations so they leave with clear actions, not just ideas.
Is this suitable for senior leadership teams?
Yes. Leadership teams often gain valuable insight into their own working patterns, assumptions and communication habits. The workshop helps them model the behaviours they want to see across the organisation.
